Along the coast, you can spot ancient millstones, remnants of the island’s agricultural past. We will continue to the Grotta del Bue Marino, a turquoise cove that once hosted the endangered monk seals, and Scoglio della Canna, a 70-meter-high volcanic sea stack surrounded by abundant marine life — a prime spot for snorkeling.
In the early afternoon, we will reach Alicudi, a small island where the village climbs steeply the hillside without streets, only stairways leading to the top.
No vehicles are used here, and all transport is traditionally done by donkeys, offering an authentic and peaceful experience.
