Private Boat Excursion to Salina
“Nature, Culture & Relax Between Vineyards and Stunning Bays”
The day begins with a tour of the north-western area of the island, aboard the Bluemarlin, heading towards Capo Faro, a rocky promontory overlooking the sea.
From here, you can enjoy spectacular views of the vineyard-covered plateau that dominates most of the island, and the majestic historic lighthouse, which has guided sailors for centuries.
Our first stop will be for swimming and relaxation in the crystal-clear waters along the coast. We will then continue along the coast of Malfa, admiring the bay of Punta Scario and the charming Aeolian-style houses nestled in the lush Mediterranean vegetation — a perfect setting for unforgettable photographs.
Turning around the island, we will reach one of Salina’s most iconic spots: the Perciato di Pollara, a natural lava stone arch rising from the sea.
This spectacular location is also famous in cinema: scenes from the renowned film “Il Postino” with Massimo Troisi and Philippe Noiret were shot here.
We will stop for snorkeling and relaxation, enjoying the clear waters and observing the vibrant marine life.
Before lunch, we will visit the picturesque village of Lingua, famous for its salt lake that gave the island its name. Here, you can taste traditional Aeolian cuisine, including the famous pane cunzato, and soak in the authentic atmosphere of this charming village.
Finally, we will return to the boat to head to Brigantino Bay, enjoying the last swim of the day before returning to Salina’s port.
